B.O.A. 15. i cry This one of the first installments of the Asheville base electronica label Heterodox Records. Circumference is the duality of two projects in one dubbed Flyswatter and Screwdriver manned by Jeremy Turon. Both chapters of these projects are similar in that they're electronic based, but each possesses a distinct sound apart, creating this yin and yang tension. Flyswatter mixes into ambient breakbeats with a hint of glitch-twitch and a lot of mellow grooves. Very chill, very kool. Screwdriver is at times more driving in dance rhythms , while they're also squeaking out Bruce Haack vocals, and comforting you with tripped out phase distorted keyboards. But like the other side of this disc it too experiments with ambiance and mood. Both projects fit nice and tightly to this CD making it a perfect circle. more information on Heterdox Records
